Ingredients:
1 jar (6oz.) marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
½ cup sun-dried tomato pesto
1 ½ cups crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
2 pounds ground pork
1 cup onions, finely diced
2 tablespoons dried Italian seasoning mix
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground pepper
6 tablespoons fresh basil
Directions:
- Combine artichokes and pesto in bowl. Mix in cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator for about 3 hours.
- Set oven to broiler. Mix together meat, onion, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Split mixture into 6 portions, mold into patties.
- Broil patties about 5 minutes per side.
- Place burgers on favorite roll, and top burgers with pesto mixture and fresh basil.
