Ingredients:
8 oz lasagna noodles
1 lb lean ground beef
½ cup onion (chopped)
8 oz mushrooms (optional)
1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp dried leaf oregano, crumbled
½ tsp dried leaf basil, crumbled
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven 350 degrees.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions and drain.
- Brown the beef, onions and mushrooms on stove and drain out oil.
- Then stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, salt, oregano and basil.
- In buttered dish, layer the noodles, sauce, and the 3 cheeses and repeat until you get to the top of the baking pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes and let cool for 8 to 10 minutes before serving.
