Basic Lasagna

Ingredients:

8 oz lasagna noodles

1 lb lean ground beef

½ cup onion (chopped)

8 oz mushrooms (optional)

1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

1 tsp dried leaf oregano, crumbled

½ tsp dried leaf basil, crumbled

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

 

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions and drain.
  3. Brown the beef, onions and mushrooms on stove and drain out oil.
  4. Then stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, salt, oregano and basil.
  5. In buttered dish, layer the noodles, sauce, and the 3 cheeses and repeat until you get to the top of the baking pan.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes and let cool for 8 to 10 minutes before serving.
