Ingredients:

1lb lean ground beef

1 (10oz.) packaged shredded cabbage

1 carrot, grated

Salt and pepper

Garlic powder

20-30 egg roll wrappers

1 egg

Non-stick cooking spray

 

 

Directions:

  1. In large skillet, brown ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together carrot and cabbage.  Add ground beef to bowl.
  3. Let mixture sit for 15 minutes, so cabbage will soften.
  4. Beat the egg in small bowl to create wash for rolls.
  5. Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons of beef mixture onto middle of each roll.
  6. Fold egg roll using directions provided on packaging.  Brush with egg while folding to seal.
  7. Put egg rolls onto cookie sheet and spray with cookie spray. Bake for 15 minutes in a 425° oven, until golden and crispy.
