Ingredients:
½ cup of ketchup
2 tsp of brown sugar
1 tsp of dry mustard
1 lb of ground sausage
1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup of oats (quick cooking)
½ cup of onion (chopped)
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp of salt
¼ tsp of pepper
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together the ketchup, sugar and mustard and set aside.
- Mix remaining ingredients and ⅓ cup of ketchup sauce together.
- Form meat mix into pan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and pour the rest of ketchup sauce over top and bake for 10 minutes.
