Ingredients:
6 peppers
2 lbs ground beef (browned and seasoned)
1 onion (chopped finely)
1 small can tomato sauce
1 cup mashed tomatoes
1 cup tomato juice
1 can mushrooms (optional)
1 cup tomato soup
Ketchup
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to ground beef (minus the peppers) including the water from cans and salt and pepper. Simmer for about 2 to3 hours until thick. Add the cooked rice.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cut peppers in ½ and pour the rice mix into the peppers.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
