Ingredients:

1 pack dry yeast

¼ cup warm water

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp baking soda

1 cup sour cream

1 large egg

2 ⅓ cups flour

1 cup cheese (grated)

½ tsp pepper

 

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit for 6 minutes.
  3. Mix together sugar, salt, baking soda, sour cream, egg and 1 ½ cups of flour with an electric mixer. Stir in the rest of the flour, cheese and pepper.
  4. Pour into 2 pans and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes.
