Ingredients:

1 pound loaf Italian bread, cut in 1in. cubes

1 (16oz) can whole cranberry sauce

3 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced

1 cup golden raisins

1 tablespoon lemon zest, grated

2 teaspoons orange zest, grated

1 ½ teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 eggs

½ cup apple cider

½ cup melted butter

 

 

Directions:

  1. Grease a 9 x 13” baking pan and set oven to 350°.
  2. Mix together all dry ingredients in large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, cider, and butter together.  Pour over bread mixture and combine until moist.
  4. Pour into baking pan and bake for 60 minutes, until top is browned.
