Ingredients:

½ pound (1/2 loaf) white bread, cubed

1 ½ pounds cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup cooked ham, cubed

8 eggs

2 cups milk

1 pinch salt

Hot pepper sauce, to taste

¼ cup green onion, chopped

 

 

Directions:

  1. Grease a 9x13 baking pan and set oven to 350°.
  2. Sprinkle half of bread cubes onto bottom of pan.  Top with half the ham and cheese and repeat.
  3. Beat eggs, milk, salt, hot sauce, and green onions together.  Pour over bread in pan.
  4. Place pan on top of rimmed baking sheet and put in oven.  Pour water onto baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, until egg is set.
