Yields 2 loaves.

 

Ingredients:

3 cups sugar

1 cup oil

½ tsp baking powder

2 tsp baking soda

3 ½ cups flour

1 ½ tsp salt

1 tsp cloves

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

2 cups pumpkin

2 eggs

 

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Mix together sugar and oil and sift together the dry ingredients. Combine the pumpkin and eggs.
  3. Add the flour and the pumpkin mix alternately to sugar and oil mix.
  4. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
