Ingredients:

5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled

¾ cup all-purpose flour

¾ cup yellow cornmeal

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon kosher salt

1 cup buttermilk

2 large eggs

 

 

Directions:
  1. Mix together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In separate bowl, combine buttermilk and eggs. Add in melted butter. Add in dry ingredients and mix until just combine.
  3. Pour into buttered 8inch baking pan and cook 18-23 minutes in a 425° oven, until top has just begun to brown.
