Ingredients:
1 apple (cored and grated)
2 egg whites
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
½ cup raisins
¼ cup honey
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Stir together the buttermilk, oats and raisins.
- In another bowl, the whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
- Add the egg whites and honey to the oat mixture.
- Combine the two mixtures together and add the grated apple.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
