Ingredients:
¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
½ cup walnuts (toasted and chopped finely)
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup margarine (melted)
24 oz cream cheese (softened)
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
2 tsp of vanilla
Topping:
⅓ cup of dark brown sugar
⅓ cup of whipping cream
½ cup of walnuts (toasted and chopped)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Combine crumbs, walnuts, sugar and margarine and press into 9” springform pan.
- Blend cream cheese until fluffy.
- Gradually mix in sweetened condensed milk, eggs and vanilla until
smooth. Pour into pan.
- Bake for 55 minutes and top it with the Walnut Praline topping.
Walnut Praline Topping:
- Combine ⅓ cup of dark brown sugar and whipping cream. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves.
- Simmer for 5 minutes or until it becomes thick. Add ½ cup chopped toasted walnuts.
