Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup cocoa
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ cup flour
½ cup walnuts chopped (optional)
½ cup chocolate chips (optional but make brownies moist)
Directions:
- Melt butter in a medium size saucepan, remove from heat.
- Add sugar and cocoa, blend.
Mix in eggs and vanilla.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Pour into 8 x 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Serve plain, or frost if desired
