Ingredients:
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
3 cups baking mix
½ cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 egg
1 cup milk
½ cup raisins
Glaze:
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon margarine, softened
¾ teaspoon vanilla
2-3 teaspoons hot water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° and grease and flour 9” x 5” loaf pan.
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Reserve.
Beat, at low speed, baking mix, flour, egg and milk in large bowl.
Stir in raisins.
Pour 1/3 of mixture into pan.
Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of cinnamon sugar mixture.
Repeat 2 more times.
Bake until wooden pick comes out clean, about 60 minutes.
Remove from pan and let cool.
For Glaze:
- Beat together powdered sugar, margarine, vanilla, and hot water until smooth.
- Drizzle on cooled bread.
