Ingredients:
1 ½ packages (8oz package) prepared plain white popcorn
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
 
 
Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°.
  2. In very large pan, melt the butter.
  3. Add the brown sugar and corn syrup and bring ingredients to a soft boil, until the ingredients just bubble around the edges.
  4. Remove from heat and add the baking soda. Stir until foamy.
  5. Put popcorn in large roasting pan and cover with mixture from saucepan.
  6. Mix until the popcorn is well coated.
  7. Bake 45 minutes, stirring popcorn every 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Pour into large bowl to cool.
*Break up popcorn as it cools or it will all stick together in large clumps.
