Ingredients:
1 ½ packages (8oz package) prepared plain white popcorn
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 200°.
- In very large pan, melt the butter.
- Add the brown sugar and corn syrup and bring ingredients to a soft boil, until the ingredients just bubble around the edges.
- Remove from heat and add the baking soda. Stir until foamy.
- Put popcorn in large roasting pan and cover with mixture from saucepan.
- Mix until the popcorn is well coated.
- Bake 45 minutes, stirring popcorn every 10 to 15 minutes.
- Pour into large bowl to cool.
*Break up popcorn as it cools or it will all stick together in large clumps.
