Ingredients:

1 ½ cups flour

½ tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp cinnamon

¾ cup softened butter

1 ½ cups sugar

3 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup crushed drained pineapple

1 ounce of chocolate (melted)

½ cup of chopped nuts



Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees°.
  2. Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar and add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add in the vanilla and dry ingredients.
  4. In a small bowl, mix 1 cup of flour mixture and the pineapple. Add the melted chocolate and nuts to the sugar and butter mixture. Spread 1 ½ cups of the chocolate mix on the bottom of the 9”square baking pan and then add the pineapple mix on top. Pour the rest of the chocolate mix on top of the pineapple mix and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
