Yields 48 cookies
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cardamom
½ teaspoon black pepper
¾ cups dark cocoa
½ cup unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
Powdered Sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300F degrees.
- Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs and cocoa until smooth.
- Mix together dry ingredients, minus the powdered sugar. Add to wet mixture.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll a teaspoon of dough in powdered sugar and put 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake 18 to 20 minutes.
