Great concept, doesn't work
Despite other reviews on Amazon that warned this pan prevents baking, I bought one. I baked the same store-bought pie that was successful previously using the same oven, temp, time. With this drip catcher, I ended up with raw dough on the bottom and water in the middle. I can't imagine that Chicago Metallic ever tested this pan. One other Amz reviewer baked two pies in the same oven, simultaneously, one using this pan. The pie on this pan was raw, and the other baked just right. I gave it a second star, because I love the idea. The pan catches drips, has nice handles, and the silicone is nonskid. However, I think the silicone prevents baking heat from touching the bottom of the pie pan. I'd sure love to hear back from Chicago Metallic how to make this pan work.
