Now, for the "not so good" part. I'm assuming that my pan coating is less than perfect BECAUSE either (1) I have not been following the cleaning directions, or (2) because I always add a cup of water to the pan before placing it in the oven (I think it helps clean up the grease later), or (3) I use this pan ALL THE TIME. As for the cleaning instructions - this Meatball Baker MIGHT be dishwasher safe, but the cleaning instructions say that you MAY NOT use dishwasher detergent tablets / capsules (which I have been using). So, if you're planning on making this purchase - which I DO recommend - it must be either hand washed or cleaned with liquid dishwasher detergent).
The only thing I would change to make this pan PERFECT is to place handles on the pan. It's nice to have the handles on the rack because it makes it easier to lift, but it's a little cumbersome getting two oven mitts beneath the pan to remove it from the oven - handles would help.
Honestly, I love this pan and plan to replace what I have with a new one and then FOLLOW THE CLEANING DIRECTIONS and hopefully keep it in use for 25 years.
