INGREDIENTS
Filling:
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup coconut

Dough:
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 - 3 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 cup flour

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Lightly spray teacake cups with non-stick vegetable oil coating.
  2. Mix together filling ingredients. Fill teacake cups 2/3 full with filling.
  3. Mix dough ingredients, form 1/2” balls, then flatten dough and place on top of filling in teacake cup. Be sure the dough covers the filling; if not, adjust size.
  4. Bake at 325°F (165ºC) for 25 minutes; check dough for doneness.
  5. Let cool completely. You may need to run a plastic knife or spatula around the edges to loosen each teacake. Fill top with whipped cream and serve.
